As I sat through my weekly meeting with a friend this afternoon, I noticed all different types of people walk past our bench. Some were students, some were professors, some were introverts with their headphones plugged in while others frolicked the covered walkways in friendly uproars. I entered into a lively daze and thought of how much I’ve been in my own bubble with my normal crowd of friends, doing the usual kinds of things we do, and it made me sad. It blew my mind to think that each of the people that strolled along had a story and that they could live their life and never share it with anybody because no one ever cared to ask. It then dawned on me: I want to be the person who asks. So, in efforts to get out of my daily routine and get my dormant creative juices flowing by practicing my writing and photography, I came up with the idea of making this blog dedicated to normal, everyday people who I wish I paid more attention to.
